TEACh Foundation Telethon

Supporting the future of our community.

Each year, hundreds of local students of all ages share their knowledge and talents during a day-long, live telethon that raises money for the TEACh Foundation endowment. This year the annual event will be held on:

Saturday, March 1, 2008
10 am to 10 pm
Channels 2, 21, and 22

Teachers: The telethon features all the great things district students are doing, including live acts, entertainment and demonstrations from core classes to the arts. All subjects and grade levels are welcome, so let the community know what your students are doing. We can also use video footage from your classroom activities, as well as teacher/staff acts! Parents: Volunteer the day of the telethon. Contact Dianne Pearce, pearcehut@sbcglobal.net (489-7578).

Businesses: Underwrite a portion of the day. It’s good for your business, our students and the community! Contact Peter Kardel, 543-1930.

Underwrite One Hour: $1,000 ($500 for shared hour)
• Recognition and thanks throughout the hour of the telethon.
• 8,000 families in the San Luis Coastal School District will see business names and   logos in the TEACh Foundation newsletter.
• Media releases list business names, before and after the event.
• The TEACh Foundation website links viewers directly to your website.
