Parents
The TEACh Foundation recognizes that parents already support their children's schools through many PTA and booster fund-raisers each year, and does NOT compete with these organizations in its fund-raising activities.
The foundation board is seeking to raise a multi-million dollar permanent endowment fund. Interest
earned by the principal of this fund will be used to award annual
grants available to all public schools in the San Luis Coastal Unified
School district (SLCUSD). To build this fund, the TEACh Foundation seeks fund-raising
avenues not currently used by PTAs and Booster Clubs. These avenues
include donations through:
- Bequests
- Cash donations
- Charitable Trusts
- Insurance Policies
- Real Estate
- Securities
- Business donations
It is our goal to build this endowment fund over the
coming years. This asset base will serve as a permanent endowment
that will be used to make grants for the education improvement of the
children in the San Luis Coastal Unified School District.
However, should parents -- or anyone else - wish to make a donation
to the TEACh Foundation, we will happily accept it. Even the smallest donation
